Sorry we have been MIA for a few weeks! With all this learning, playing and disaplining these babies we have had no time to blog! Man being a mom is a FULL TIME job! Thankfully their nursing days are O V E R! I have CLOSED the Milk Bar!

Here is the fun they had (and have every night) after Mom cleans their bedroom....we have to give them plain paper for a bit because they make a holy mess!

The babies will be going home next weekend. I will try to get more updates done. We have TONS of pictures to share

We had our 1st real meal and really liked it! Of course we made a HUGE mess! But thats ok Mom cleaned us all up and our house too.

Tonight I came home to a BIG yucky puppy mess! Time to extend the crews 4x4 box to a little bit bigger area so they can begin to learn to potty away from where they sleep. Some pretty neat Corrugated Plastic & Duct tape (yes the duct tape is teal, I couldn't find my roll of black) added on another 4x3 area. Their area can grow more as they do.

Here is our new home after we got all settled in.

Within minutes of their new home being all set up 3 of them ventured into the new side and got down to business (yes literally)! The other 2 had their chance to check things out later on as they were deep in sleepy land.

Now were all settled in and ready for a much needed nap

The babies are still growing and growing! Everyones eyes are open now and their beginning to hear. They had their 1st "puppy fight" today. Someone decided to lay ontop of someone else and it erupted in a barking growling fit LOL. It was to cute not to laugh at. Wish I had, had my video camera for it. Lots of pictures over the past few days:)

We want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving! We have so much to be thankful for over the past year.

A Quick Update! We've had a busy weekend. Sadly our camera had a malfunction and we lost a lot of pictures from Friday & Saturday... So mom and I spent all weekend getting everything ready for the new arrivals! Just a few days left! Saturday we made a quick trip to see Dr Kelley and get my broods 1st picture. Unfortunately the picture isnt as clear as we had hoped. Dr Kelley thinks 6, Mom & Grandma think 7. I keep telling them they kick like there is a whole football team in there!

Dad decided he wants to share the whelping box. I told him for now....but in a few days he'll get the boot!

The Clock is Ticking

WOW! Its been a few weeks! So much has happened. Lets see.....we are back from our wonderful trip to NC! The Vizsla Nationals was AWESOME!! Of course I was just along for the ride and got to spend my days chill'n on an awesome bed in our hotel room! This bed was so cool, it was a pillow top so much better then mom's bed at home....but much smaller then our bed at home. Anyhow, my girlish figure is history! I am very fat and very preggers. Mom had a funny Halloween costume for me for the Costume contest but things got so crazy i didnt get to enter:( I was going to be Brittany Spears when she was preggers and running around in a Bikini. I had a blonde wig, Bikini & everything.....oh well, I was tired from spending time with my grandma Jan so sleeping the evening away was exactly what i needed.

But we're back from NC now....and we're getting ready for the pitter patter of little feet! Just a week to go!!! We go in Sunday for an xray and an approximate head count!!

Dad likes using me as a Pillow now vs me using him as one. and see....girlish figure gone!

Well today we are half way thru! My due date is just a few short weeks away! So much to do in that time!

This has been a fun relaxing weekend. The family has just hung out. This is my buddy Payton we were sharing this sun spot on the carpet.

This is me & my dad Journey. Mom spent all day Saturday cleaning....so we just hung out relaxing in the sun! I don't look too preggers in this picture...I'm sure that will change soon much to my dismay:( My size 2 waistline will be gone:(

Mom said next weekend we begin packing for our big trip! We are heading South to Charlotte, NC in a few weeks for the Vizsla Nationals (a big show for just vizslas). I am not entered but I get to go along for the ride. We will be traveling with all my aunts & cousins! It will be so much fun!!!

Well its official! I am Pregnant!!!! Wish we had ultrasound pictures to share but unfortunately the printer wasn't cooperating with Dr Kelley last night and she couldn't get a clear image to print out. Let me tell you when they say "this is going to be cold" they really mean it! I think someone needs to invent something to warm that gel! OMG. So here I am on my back with head in moms lap she and Dr Kelley are ohhing and awwing over the babies and counting them....I stopped listening when they got to 6 because I was like OMG 6? are you kidding? I am going to kill Patriot I wanted 1 i tell you 1! not a herd LOL. Mom & grandma Wendy are so excited!

Mom is taking these dreaded pictures of me each week showing how preggers I look....I am sure she will post them soon (much to my dismay).

Since I haven't really shared the news....i guess I should introduce my boyfriend Patriot. His "official" name is BISS Ch Wingsongs Patriotic Spirit JH, or Patriot as we know him. He is super sweet! and gorgeous, OMG he is a HOTTIE!!!! But he also has BRAINS! He is a bird hunting fool!!

Well it looks like our Brood is due around November 12th. I will be doing at least weekly updates now if not more often:) So excited and looking forward to the little rugrats!! Fingers crossed all goes well and I don't get to fat and disgusting looking!

Time for an Update....and some news

Well figured it was high time for an update. Its sure been a busy summer here. We've been off at shows a lot! Unfortunately I still havent snagged that last win to finish my championship....i just do not know what is wrong with the judges these days! I guess i can't say unfortuntely but the little pest Brady finished his Championship a few weeks ago at the Vizsla club of MI specialty...of course the little brat has to do it in grand style, at the Vizsla Club of Michigan Specialty. Our Buddy Guzzle finished his Championship the day before at the VCM Supported Entry.

Then the weekend after Brady finished his CH he had to go out and show off by winning Best in Specialty Show at the Greater Cleveland Vizsla Club specialty his 1st time in the ring as a Champion....the little dudes head is so big now he can barely fit thru the door. but he's still cool...even if he is a brat sometimes.

We had so much fun this summer at shows, going to the lake, hunting...or at least trying to. Birds were pretty scarce this summer:( but we had lots of fun looking.

In some good news I have a new boyfriend! He is so sweet and loves me! He loves to go hunting for birds and is pretty damn good looking if i do say so myself. His name is Patriot. Mom hasnt let him spend the night yet but she tells me he can very soon! I can't wait!!!

So i know I have been really bad at updating my blog....now that summer is here I hope to do better. So lets see lots to update. Sadly our beloved Kenzie made her final journey to the rainbow bridge May 23rd. We miss her terribly but know she is now with her buddy Thunder and is chasing lots of bunny at the bridge!

I am still working on that last major :( and having thoughts towards motherhood which isn't too far down the road.

In other news! We made a trip to OH a few weeks ago to the MVVC Specialty. We had lots of fun with friends. At the Specialty, Brady won the open dog class his 1st time in that class, then went on to win Reserve Winners Dog. Grandma Sue showed Journey in Best of Breed and he won 1st Award of Merit. Then Brady & I helped Dad win Best Stud Dog.

So i have a little brag to share! I am now a certified princess bird dog!! I got to play with birds again this weekend...and Mom is SO happy! I did good!!!! Saturday it was perfect bird finding weather! I did a good job but just had to grab 1 bird before i got down to business. Hey the bird wasn't sitting still he was running down the road...he just had to be taken out! After that I found my 1st bird and as mom said, had another gorgeous point. I keep saying of course its gorgeous! everything i do is gorgeous. Mom was sad no one got a picture of it....

Mom took me out to play after the HT and she was really upset with me....i told her i didn't have to hold point when no one was judging me! Then she said something about getting me broke before fall...Broke? what the heck is she talking about? Why does she want to break me? I am perfect!!!

So Sunday came and the weather was wet and cold....at 1st i was like you want the princess to do what? then i heard the gunfire and was like turn me loose! there are BIRDS calling my name! finally my turn came....I was so excited. Mom whistled me off the line and I was gone! The judges & mom all in unison said WOW...I don't know what got into me but i was outta there! Off hunting for birdies. Mom finally caught up to me as we got to the bird field. By that time i needed water and it was time to really get serious about finding birds. I hunted hard and finally found one. I slammed on point and mom was so happy! I held my point until she started to kick the bird up....the bird went up and off i went! I caught it on the other side of the field and started to bring it back....THEN the bad bird POOPED on my FACE! I was so disgusted! I mean come on princesses do not get pooped on! But mom was so happy! the judge had me hunt for a few more minutes then told mom to leash me up....i was like hey wait! i am not done!

Back at the van Mom had to do one of those embarrassing photos to show everyone the bird poop on my face. I mean come on doesn't she know how I do not want anyone to see me like that....its like geeez i have a reputation to uphold as a Princess!

Mom did then clean my face off thankfully! Then we went and got my ribbon & my scores!! I had awesome scores 10's & 9's! My average was a 9.5!!! Mom was so happy!! We got our picture taken (will post that later)....Mom says I am now officially Lostcreeks Treasured Journey JH!!!! Hopefully we'll be adding CH in front of my name soon too.

After all the excitement I curled up on the front seat for a much needed beauty rest.

Mom & I decided to hang out and wait for Ms Carol & Che to run. He only needed 1 more pass too. So we took a nap

Then Mom watched Che do a great job in the field and finish his JH too!! WAHOOO!!!! I stayed buried under my blanket in the car with daddy.

It was a good day! other then that damn bird pooping on my face....

Well its time to check in again! Lets see! We'll I am finally "legal"! I got all my health test results back! Which of course I knew I was perfect. In puppy news....my Mom, grandma Wendy & I have decided who will be my prince! He is a very handsome boy, with a very diverse family! Details will come as soon as we decide "when"....

So i had to go and throw a wrench in their "plans" and come in season right on schedule.....so mom says IF the stars & moons Aline this weekend and I finish my Championship I may get to have puppies sooner then later....if not I'll have to wait till august. So everyone keep your fingers crossed.

In other news:) Feb 10th was my Daddy Journey's birthday, he turned 6yrs old! Mom said we can call him an old man now LOL!

We are heading to shows in Indiana today...which means the brat, oh i mean Brady is visiting. He is such a teenager...thinks about nothing but himself. I keep telling him off but he just doesn't listen. Everyone keep your fingers crossed that we do good this weekend!!! I get to spend time with my BFF Teagan! I cannot wait!!

Time for an Update

SO my new years resolution is to be better about updating my blog...so sorry i have been so MIA! Looks of news to report! Lets see....

Show News

My BFF Teagan (our Flatcoated Retvr - that Payton raised with one of her litters) has got to come over and visit a lot lately! we have went to several shows. Teagan got her 1st major in early December....then she just got another Major a few weeks ago in OH. She just needs a few points to finish her CH! She is so cool! I love playing with her.

In Cleveland just before Christmas Dad Journey got to come out and play in the ring with us. He got a Ribbon one of the days with Mom showing him! The little Pest Brady got his 1st major. Our baby beagle boy Ace made his show ring debut! He had a lot of fun!

Unfortunately hunting season ended and its now to cold to do much bird stuff. But every time we go out to the field trial grounds for a run we search and search for birds...there has to be some out here somewhere!

We got a really big snow storm and had LOTS of fun while Mom shoveled. I was zooming all over the place. Journey & Naven thought i was crazy! Check out the pictures we took!

Then we had the holidays coming! On Christmas Eve we got exciting news....my other Mom Wendy had her Hoomin baby! His name is Sebastian....we can't wait to meet him! He's such a cutie!!!

Then it was onto HAPPY NEW YEAR! Hopefully 2009 will bring us lots of luck and ribbons....mainly the one that means I am a new Champion LOL!

SO now its January....My 1/2 sister Page & her Mom Vayda are visiting for a few days. We have had so much fun! Pages is so cool! She even got to see her brother Brady. It was like they had never been apart. They played and played....I just got to referree the kids.

She says they are doing that this week...hahaha we'll see. Now mom said she is getting really serious about finding me a boyfriend....its going to have to be a really special guy! I won't just go for anyone....I am a princess after-all!

WOW its been a few weeks! Sorry life just gets in the way....it was pheasant season after all! So we spent 2 weekends in the woods searching for Birdies! We had SO much fun! Journey & Cooper (the evil Brittany) were so not happy they had to share bird time with ME! Last year I just tagged along and played but this year OMG I had so much fun! Mom said she was SO proud of me! I retrieved every bird shot for me...and even a few shot for the other two knuckle heads. One day we got our limit very early and Mom made us really behave and worked on training vs shooting birds.....I am learning that I have to honor the other dogs on point....its not fun but i do it.

In-between hunting weekends we took a trip to OH for a dog show! Saturday I came very close to finishing my championship, but Kissing Cousin "Pixie" got her 1st major instead! She's a cool girl! Big props to her and her brother Rocket! Rocket is such a cutie! I even got to see my Grandma Jan, Cousin Riley & Aunt Tessa. We stayed with Aunt Margaret so we got to run and play all weekend! It was fun! There was 8 of us running and playing. My Dad Journey, brother Brady, Cousin Guzzle, Cousin Reba, Payton The evil Beagle and My surrogate kid Teagan (she's really a flatcoat that my sister Payton raised with her litter, but I am her "other" mom). It was so much fun to run and run and run!!! I LOVE! Being chased!!!!

Now we have a few weekends off before heading to shows again. Mom started her new job this week, she has been so busy at work.

We're been busy getting ready for our upcoming hunting trip! Journey's making a nuisance of himself since Mom brought out her gun to clean....he KNOWS its almost time.....the poor boy is acting like there is a girl in season around (and its NOT ME)....barely eating, following mom around like a lost puppy...the silly boy, i keep telling him she is NOT leaving without us....she NEEDS US! He's such a whiny baby.

Unfortunately Pheasant season doesn't Officially open until Monday the 20th, so we'll just be scouting for pheasants Sat & Sunday....but it will still be Grouse & Woodcock Season so that is what we'll be hunting Sat & Sunday! CANT WAIT! Look Out Birdiieess! We're coming to get you!!!

So the wonderful ladies at the Irish Setter club HT took pictures of all of us with Qualify Scores! Here is my picture. Its a little dark, mom said she'd fix that when we get our computer back up to speed on Thursday.

I'm sure there will be more pictures to post after our hunting weekend....You know Mom and her Camera....maybe she'll even figure the video thing out!

Mom finally got off her keister and entered me in a Hunt Test on Saturday. She told me if i held my point (opposed to flushing my own bird just as mom gets within 2 feet of me) that she would shoot some birds for me and let me retrieve them! SO I was a good girl and held my point....i even let mom flush it and shoot it (altho she missed it) before i took off to bring the bird back. I still don't understand why she has to shoot them because I can bring them back just fine alive.

I got a cool Orange Ribbon and mom said my scores were awesome! All 9's and 1 8! So now i have 1 leg towards my JH. Hopefully we can do a few more HT this fall....but between real hunting and trying to finish my Championship mom said it doesn't leave a lot of weekends, so we may have to wait till spring.

Boy was my dad ticked off when mom took ME out 1st! We could hear him screaming the entire way around the course. Even grandma Sue yelling at him didn't shut him up. He was so mad that when it was his turn he blew mom off big time and got in BIG trouble! He is such a boy, always wanting it his way and to always be 1st. He just has to learn I am the Princess and I go 1st now!!!

We cannot wait for Pheasant Season! Only 2wks to go then we'll be OFF to the Lake for a weekend of BIRDS BIRDS BIRDS!!!!!!

Another Sad Day

Today is a very sad day at our house. Our Onyx Kitty had to go to the rainbow bridge. She was very old and very sick. Her kidneys had not been working well for awhile and over the weekend she took a major turn for the worse. I am very sad....i loved to chase the kitty. Mom said it will be a very long time before we get another kitty. Onyx was a one of a kind cat. My mom raised her from just days old. When her mom was killed on the road in front of her work. She was nicknamed the Devils Spawn by our vet because she was so evil. She taught all of us dogs to respect the kitty....poor Naven even has permanent scars from trying to lay on top of her. Even dad Journey (who mom calls the kitty killer) wont do anything other then point onyx....he knows better.

So it is a very sad day at our house......Mom bought a special candle to light tonight in honor of our evil Onyx kitty. She is now terrorizing all the other cats and dogs at the rainbow bridge.

So I had to get a bath and to make matters worse Dad gets one with me (read same time dad in tub with me...aren't their rules about that?) i mean come on cant a girl have a little privacy! So we get our baths and mom grabs her camera to take pictures of us.....

Dad of course is a camera hog he loves having his picture taken....

So I thought maybe if i closed my eyes really tight she'd just go away! or just pretend i am sleeping and she'll leave me alone.

Thanks to everyone who has hit my site and blog trying to find out why I was excused from the ring on Saturday....for those so concerned I hurt my foot. We have no idea how or on what but it hurt bad! I tried to be brave but about half way around the ring I just couldn't do it.

But some pain meds, a foot soak and lots of TLC and I am all better now! Unfortunately, I didn't get to show on Sunday either as I was still not using my foot. Oh well! Hopefully in October they'll be majors again.....

OH where are the BOYZ! Their surely not here! OH BUT the BIRDZ are! We went out Sunday and played with some birdz! I was SO Happy! Mom was so proud of me, I decided to finally listen to her and hold my point long enough to let her flush the bird...of course then i CHAZED! and brought it back....i mean come on, we can't let this little birdie get away....heck she didn't even hit it when she shot. Mom said IF I hold my point like I am suppose to and not just retrieve my birds that I'll get to do more bird stuff in a few weeks. SO I showed her I COULD point and whoa...5 points! ok 4 - i had to bust in on one...its just to tempting. Why wait for mom to flush and shoot them when I can just point, grab and bring them back alive!

Mom learned her cell phone has video! She tried to video me on point and her flushing the bird, but all she got on video was lots of noise, me panting and oh ya GRASS! hopefully she figures that out soon so everyone can SEE I CAN hold a POINT! But i tell ya its just not fun!

We're off to shows next weekend with Aunt Sue! YEAH!....Then my said I will be "safe" to run with everyone and we can really get down to bird training!

Props to my buddy Rocket! His Mom & Dad got him a new SISTER!!!!! We'll she's older then him but she LOVES to play!!! Can't wait to meet Mz Delilah!!

What A WEEKEND!

Its been several weeks since I have posted. So much has happened! Mom got a new van! Big thanks to Aunt Nancy for selling us her van! We're cruis'n in princess style again! Mom even bought me a new Pink Princess Blanket! Now to just get me a new crate and all will be good!

Last weekend we went to shows in OH. It was HOT but Mom rented a cool car for us to go in! Mom loved it! 1 tank of gas got us there and back with some to spare....not sure why she was so excited but she was! But she was really sad too, my little buddy Ace met his new Mom and went home. I really miss him. He was fun to play with even if he was a little obnoxious. Mom said we'll get to see him in a few months and he'll be much bigger! Boy i hope so, that kid needs to do some serious growing! I felt like i was going to break him everytime we played. I was really hoping to have been a Champion by the end of last weekend...and I came close but not close enough:( On Saturday I was a bridesmaid as mom called it. On Sunday I made a cut but no ribbons! Thats ok, it was HOT and I just wanted to go home......then I gave mom a real surprise! I came in season on Wednesday! Dad kept trying to tell her I was close and I kept telling him eeewww NO! but boyz you know they just do not listen!

So this past weekend on Saturday we just hung out! but Sunday we drove with Aunt Karin, Derek and my two Buddies Foster & Diesel to OH...oh ya my Dad went too, I had to ride in a crate between the "boyz"....i felt like I was in a fish bowl, they all kept staring and whining at me....I was like COME ON guys I do not like you guys like that! So anyhow at the show I was the only girl in the classes so of course I won! But my Dad Journey won Best of breed and I beat another girl who is already a CH for Best of Opposite Sex! It was pretty cool to be there right behind my Dad! The judge even told Mom I almost beat him! He doesn't like it when I beat him! Then Dad & Derek got to go show with all the other Sporting dogs in the group, and they won a Group 2!! After the group we got our pictures taken.

In other news! Props to my sister Princess Hazel! She finished her Championship!! Go HAZEL! Then our Bro "Brody" was Best of Breed!!!

Well I have been MIA for a few days....and I just have to say Mean People SUCK! SO our van has been having issues...Mom has been shopping for a new one but shopping is hard work. So Friday morning mom goes to leave for work and OMG! our VAN IS GONE! MISSING! I thought it ran away cuz Mom got so mad it earlier in the week....but mom explained it couldn't run away without its keys...so SOMEOME STOLE IT! Then I got very upset...all my stuff was still in the van! My Pretty PINK Brand New SHOW LEAD! My PINK Bed, My Pink Princess Blanket :( and My Crate! I am so upset. Now we are vanless....and Mom really has to go out and find a new van. This SUCKS!

My little Brother Brady came to stay with us for a few weeks...his family (who i just love) are on a VACA in Las Vegas! Lucky hoomins they get to have all the fun! He has been a lot of fun to play with, but i get so tired of boyz! can't mom bring home some girls for me to play with. She said next year I might get a sister....and i hope she does! Payton and I need another girl in the house!

Brady loves to play with Ace. Mom shot some videos of them playing this morning. Stupid puppies....Brady doesn't realize he is as big as me...he thinks he is tiny like Ace.

We heard today my Uncle Spark finished his RE title! WAHOO Go SPARK! He is so well educated! Mom said I have to go to school and study really hard to be like Spark.

Spent today just chilln with Kenzie! She doesn't let me cuddle with her much anymore so i take advantage when i can!

New Van

Mom said lots of bad words last night....she has to go van shopping....our van is old and sick:( something about its mission starting to die. I think that's really bad. Our Kenzie is sick too and old....Mom said we have to be very careful with her cuz she has a hard time seeing us and can't hear anything....at least she still likes it when i clean her ears and eyes. I try to be very gentle but sometimes i forget and run into her when we are playing. I always give her kisses and tell her i am sorry for knocking her down.

Fingers crossed moms van shopping goes well....i don't understand why she doesn't like shopping for vans...we love to go shopping normally. Hopefully we get a new Big van

Big Weekend Wins!

I got my 1st major last weekend...my Brother and Sister couldn't let me be outdone so they went out and won at the IL Specialty this weekend! Prince Miles was Winners dog & Princess Hazel was Winners Bitch/Best of Winners both for 4pt majors! Now we all just need 1 major to finish our CH's! We're catching up to Brothers Brody who finished his CH 1yr at the IL specialty...and to Brother Wyatt who needs 2 Single points to finish his Ch!!!

Just heard our little sis Page (well she is my 1/2 sister) won Reserve Winners Bitch at the Vizsla Club Canada National Specialty today! Go Mz Page!!!!!

I on the other hand spent my day sun bathing and chasing the occasional bird out of the yard. Oh ya and teaching Baby Ace (FKA Solo) all the fun it is outside!

Well so much for the beach:( Its raining....and raining....and still raining! Payton and I are left to play inside....We had Wrestlemainia 34 in the living room this morning with Naven. For an old guy he still has the moves. Then the sun came out and i thought OH YA! NOW we can go to the beach.....then the rain came back.....now I am just plain bored! A girl can only chase her tail and chew on a bone so much in a morning before boredom takes over...

TGIF my Peeps! SO glad its FRIDAY!!! we will be able to sleep in tomorrow! No going to work for Mom! She said if it is nice weather we are going to go the BEACH! I have my Bikini all picked out! CANNOT WAIT! The PRINCESS LOVES! the beach!! Swimming, Sun bathing and flirting with all those crazy boy dogs:) Love it! please please weather gods make tomorrow be a sunny hot day!

Some of you may know my sister Payton. Well she's a beagle so she not my blood sister but she's still my sister. Anyhow, she is a Momma Dog right now...I am SO jealous! I want to be a Momma too! but Mom tells me i have to wait until next year. Well Payton only had 1 puppy, his name is Solo. He is almost 5wks old and so cute! He has gone from being this blob that doesn't move much even tho i nose him all over the box trying to get him to play with me...to this really cool playmate. Mom said its my job to get him all socialized and be his surrogate littermate so he learns all the dog rules. Its been a hard job! Between Payton and I he is getting lots of attention and now doesn't want to be left alone. Mom says she thinks we've kinda spoiled him LOL! There are some cute pics of Solo Below.

My dad, Journey is nuts! He swears Solo is a kitty or a squirrel or something He is obsessed with watching him....i told him just wait, he won't be so happy if those little needles start biting him. I just can't seem to get it thru solo's puppy brain that my Milkbar is CLOSED! OUT OF ORDER! NOT WORKING! but that boy has to try everytime...OUCH!

I came, I saw, I moved like a dream and kicked butt!

At the Vizsla Club of Michigan Supported entry, I won winners bitch for my 1st major! 1 more and I will be a Champion....altho i am not sure why i need to be a Champion after all I am already a Princess!
All of the boyz were just a buzz over me (hey who can blame them)....mom said its getting to be that time again......what time? time for a Party? COOL I LOVE Parties!!!
